Truss Show & Plant Sale

Our annual show of rhododendron trusses and plant sale is held on the Saturday before Mother's Day every year.   Members bring trusses for the show which is a great way to show people the great variety of colours, textures and sizes available.  We invite nurseries specializing in rhododendrons and companion plants to our sale, providing members and the public an opportunity to buy plants for their gardens.

The 20th  annual show will be held on Saturday May 12, 2012  from 10 AM to 2 PM

Location:  Centennial Building, Beban Park

For more information, contact John Deniseger at  390-3605.

Winners of Popular Choice Ballot at Truss Shows

Members of the public attending our annual Rhododendron Flower Show at Beban Park are asked to choose their favourite truss. The table below summarizes the results for the shows beginning in 1993. Plants that received first, second and third prize are listed along with a brief description of the flower colour, plant size at ten years, hardiness and ratings (flower, plant, performance, out of a maximum of 5) given by the American Rhododendron Society. Note that these are all mid-season varieties which bloom at the time of the show on Mother's Day weekend.
